Rainy and cold, brrr

1 1/2 cups of coffee from Joe’s!

So even more has been happening at Paul’s Hat Works since last we talked. Firstly, we have had a team of documentary makers in house to film a documentary about PHW for a 5 day documentary film challenge! Check out more info here: http://www.docchallenge.org/.

Mike and Evan filming us!

Also, Paul’s Hat Works has been nominate once again for Best of the Bay Men’s Clothing! So vote for us! Go to this link: http://baylist.cityvoter.com/paul-s-hat-works/biz/548599 log in, and do the right thing!

Also of note, I’m sure you’ve all been seeing previews for “The Adjustment Bureau,” which stars a bunch of men in hats…This should be very interesting. Not pumped about the stingy brim straw Damon wears at one point, but at least he’s got a hat on! Check out this rolling stone article: http://www.rollingstone.com/movies/reviews/the-adjustment-bureau-20110303. Especially like when they say “Beware men in hats…They may be the personification of Fate.” It’s all about the hats!

Oh yeah!

The Richmond Blog did a little post about our Hound extension. Check it out: click here.

Hmm, I know there’s more. Oh yes! Our good friends who created the custom shirting company called “Taylor Stitch” also started a store called “The Common,” which started out on 6th st and Market and is now moving to 15th and Valencia. The opening party come rain or shine will be this Thursday the 10th, so drop by for sure, here’s what they say about it:

“New store is opening March 10th on Valencia. Come hell or high water. There will be cocktails, new product and best of all a more convenient location! Stop on down to 383 Valencia whenever and bug us! We’ll be building and might even letcha swing a hammer. Our sincere apologies for our delinquency as shop keepers right now too!”

What’s also exciting is that the Common will be hosting some of PHW’s Cuenca straw hats at their location. These guys are super in touch with a very keen and forward aesthetic, from decor of a room to decor of a body, so we are very excited to partner up with them.

Ok, I think that’s it for now….oh no, wait, there’s more. The SF Jazz Collective is back in town and they are doing a show at the Herbst theatre this Friday the 11th. We’re hoping to go see them, so should you, they’re incredibly talented, and as you can see from the photo, good looking to boot! We were commissioned to make them all hats last year, and we hope they have been enjoying them!

Love them.

Ok, now that’s it. I swear.
