Man Up San Francisco! A Pop Up Menswear Market!
Wednesday, January 13, 2010
Our friends over at Taylor Stitch have collaborated with a few others to create “The Durable Goods Concern,” a presence that believes in quality craftsmanship and stylish products. The Durable Goods Concern is presenting a new event going on the last weekend of January, specifically the 29th, 30th, and 31st, which will showcase and retail products specific to the male lifestyle. “Man Up” San Francisco aims to bring together the fragmented local companies of menswear, accessories, and associate products into one gallery for one weekend only, to ease and simplify the male shopping experience. What we find most interesting and useful about this event is that there will be “educational sessions” where Sam Malouf, a Bay Area Menswear veteran, will be demystifying the aspects of quality, construction, matching, style, and more! This is the chance all you “gentlemen” out there have been waiting for! That’s right, I’m talking about YOU! The opportunity to get spoon fed the basics of male fashion, while being surrounded by quality goods at your fingertips, all of us rallying together to make your shopping experience, at the very least, tolerable. Paul’s Hat Works will be there with our own booth, and we will be more than happy to take time to deeply discuss the different ways hats can enhance your wardrobe, and your life.
Here is the promo video for Man Up, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
